ÁNGELA VARO “DANÇÂ DEL AIRE”
In Dançâ del Aire (Dances of the Air) Ángela Varo tells the story of how the air became the wind. This transformation serves as a metaphor for the evolution of migratory experiences and the interconnectedness of cultures and people. Just as the air dances freely, this album explores the limitless expressions of the Andalusian Universe. This project is a tapestry woven from personal and collective experiences rooted in the Andalusian experience and interconnections - from a global perspective. It draws on the rich cultural heritage of Varo’s hometown, Baena, and encompasses the stories of her family and communities, reflecting the connected journeys of those who contribute to 'Dançâ del Aire.' Is a call for peace to the world, emphasizing respect for nativeness and the survival of cultures like the Andalusian—from any river, or any sea, of this planet. The air, representing my personal journey as an Andalusian.
